"We wanted to give a real athletic feel to the hair. The movement in the cuts is designed to give a sporty look–almost as if the hair has become beautifully dishevelled after someone has completed his or her sporting activity,” says Sassoon Salons' international creative director Mark Hayes. Poised and ready for the London 2012 Olympics, the hair colour vies for top place with trophy inspirations of gold, silver and fiery bronze that are applied in concentric circles like the Olympic rings.
