“When hair is cut, the strands typically no longer serve a purpose, so in the spirit of recycling, I use them to create hair art. What we usually throw away, I use to design hair in creative expression. This type of exploratory design stimulates more creativity and provides unique perspectives on the movement and behaviour of hair,” says Carney.
