“My inspirations came from black and white films, and from icons like Marie Antoinette and the model Twiggy,” says Vancouver-based stylist Loretta Tom. “I wanted to put a modern twist to an old iconic style, something simple yet glamorous and elegant at the same time, and the black and white photographs helped to create that feel.”
