Canadian Wins Master Stylist NAHA!

Congratulations to Canadian hairstylist Edwin Johnston, from Cutting Room Creative in Nanaimo, BC, who took home the Master Stylist of the Year Award at the North American Hairstyling Awards last night in Las Vegas!
He shot his winning collection with British photographer Jack Eames last October. “It’s something I always wanted to do. There’s a difference in the way Brits capture images,” he said in interview earlier this year about being inspired UK style for the collection.
“You have to keep working hard and be on the lookout or be researching,” he said of challenging himself creatively when entering competitions. His hard work has certainly paid off!
NAHA's top honor, Hairstylist of the Year, was presented to Dimitrios Tsioumas, from the Mizu New York Salon in New York, NY. See all of the winning collections here.
