What: For the first time, the Aveda Institute held a contest across Canada to uncover aspiring hairstylists with raw talent, bold creativity and passion. Entrants from high schools across Canada were asked to submit a video on why they were born to style. Finalists were invited to create looks for a judged runway, held between two locations in Toronto and Winnipeg.
The Born to Style show in Winnipeg was in tandem with the grand opening of the new Aveda Institute flagship location, which boasts 9,000 sq. ft of space for the school and retail store.
