The Beauty Changes Lives Foundation (BCLF) has named Aveda founder, Horst Rechelbacher, as the recipient of its 2018 Legacy Award.
BCLF is a non-profit organization that aims to provide education and empowerment for beauty and wellness professionals.
The 2018 Legacy Award will be presented at the organization’s annual Beauty Changes Lives Experience on Sunday, April 29, 2018 and will be co-hosted by America’s Beauty Show and Pivot Point International. The event will include an intimate dinner followed by a runway fashion show showcasing sponsored NextGen teams and their mentors.
“Our fund-raising Beauty Changes Lives Experience allows us to pay it forward by supporting the next generations in beauty,” said Lynelle Lynch, president of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation.
Rechelbacher’s life and business partner, Kiran Stordalen, and daughter Nicole Thomas-Rechelbacher will accept the award in honour of his contributions to the industry.
Lynch adds, “Honouring Horst is a privilege for the foundation and in doing so we also honour the thousands of industry members who were touched by Horst, by his life’s work and his talent for encouraging success in others.”
