In Tono Sanmartìn’s Bridal collection, the Valencia, Spain-based stylist, put the finishing touches on a bride’s big day with elegant, swept-back updos. Representing a bridge between modernity and traditionalism, Sanmartìn’s bride wears her hair in two different ways; a high and full ponytail, loosely pulled back, and a structured-yet-haphazard bun. Both styles are decorated with hairpieces, which accents the understated elegant nature of the looks. Makeup is also natural—perfect for a long day—but with unexpected touches of colour such as a sweep of bronze shadow along the lower lash line and frosty pink lips, all paired with a soft smoky eye.
