Huge congratulations go out to top Canadian stylist and educator, Fabio Sementilli! He was just named to the post of Vice President of Education for Wella North America, where he’ll continue working out of the Los Angeles office. He’ll be reporting directly to CEO of Wella North America, Reuben Carranza.
“I’m proud and happy to lead Wella Education in our mission to support the ‘PHDs,’ the professional hairdressers, of North America” says Sementilli. “It’s important for us to offer our peers and the next generation a ‘beacon of hope,’ so that they can aspire higher and realize their goals in every facet of our industry.”
On Sementilli’s new role, Carranza says, “Fabio’s creative drive is well-known to hairdressers throughout the continent, but his thirst for teaching has made him the ideal person to lead Wella Education into the salons, onto the show platform anad into the schools. His passion for the craft and commitment to mentoring the next generation make him a truly inspirational leader.”
Wella North American Education, a team of several hundred artist-educators across the U.S. and Canada, delivers education in salons, at the Wella Studios in New York and Los Angeles, on platform at shows, in seminars in alliance with the Oribe Atelier and through e-education at www.pgsalonpro.com. The education group also heads up competitions including Wella Trend Vision, Wella Student Competitions and Sebastian What’s Next.
