From New York to London to Paris, nails were not forgotten on the runways of fashion week, and featured some of the season’s hottest upcoming nail art trends. Here are a few of our favourites.
For Sofia Webster’s whimsical, ballroom dancing-inspired collection at London Fashion Week, Tracey Lee and the CND Design Lab Team created a vibrant range with Swarovski crystals, ombré and French tips.
At NYFW, the CND Design Lab Team paired daringly bold designs in Libertine’s show with a playful take on textures, including these 3D matte nails in rich, saturated hues.
Nude nails aren’t going anywhere, so it’s time to step it up. For the Cushnie et Ochs show at NYFW, nail artist Julie Kandalec created a shattered metallic ombré, inspired by architect Zaha Hadid’s work.
For Maryam Nassir Zadeh’s NYFW show, ORLY ambassador Holly Falcone combined geometric lines, negative space and a confetti accent nail to create a colourful mani that breaks all the rules.
Animal prints keep making a style comeback. At Jeremy Scott’s NYFW show, Miss Pop created a techno- inspired print with hand-painted, macaroni shaped lines.
At the Asian wonderland-themed Manish Arora show at Paris Fashion Week, the CND Design Lab Team used a fan-shaped stamp pattern featuring hand-painted Koi fish, finished with Swarovski details.
