With the holidays cropping up around the corner, clients will have more than one party look to sport. Make it easier for them to change up their style and easy for you to provide the service with Dashing Diva GlamGel, new full-cover nails in square and oval shapes with sparkly designs—plus, several looks in modern French-tipped designs. Here are top tips when applying GlamGel.
Nails for the Night (or Two)
To give clients gorgeous nail art for temporary wear, use Dashing Diva adhesive tabs fitted to the nail. To maximize adhesion, frequently press down on the nail within the first hour of application. To remove, place a few drops of polish remover on each finger and gently peel away the nail and adhesive tab, starting from the cuticle area. GlamGel nails from L-R: Emerald City, Silver Starlet.
Nails for the Week
For up to 10-day wear, try Dashing Diva Tailor Bond, which allows nail techs to control the amount of adhesive over the nail bed and remove air bubbles using the nozzle tip. When applied, the adhesive will flow forward and spread in an even layer. Avoid air bubbles by lessening the amount of pressure on the nail plate while the adhesive is drying.
To remove, file off the top surface of the GlamGel nail and soak nails in acetone or acetone-based nail polish remover until nail is softened and disintegrated. Wipe off any loosened nail product with a paper towel saturated with acetone, cleanse hands, and condition the nail with cuticle oil. GlamGel nails from L-R: Precious Stones, Quiet Riot.
