It’s been quite a year for Essie! From its 35th birthday to its 1,000th polish, the brand is now marking the release of its Gel Couture collection. Inspired by haute couture, the collection features a range of 42 shades, including Atelier neutrals, First Look pastels, Fashion Show brights and After Party deeps. Gel Couture gives your clients a gel-like finish that lasts up to 14 days, without the use of UV light, and requires no special removal. Essie enthusiasts are sure to notice a twist on the design, including a twirl-designed bottle and swirl stem brush with tapered cut for non-drip colour application. Gel Couture made its debut on the Met Gala red carpet, with Katie Holmes, Elle Fanning and Kate Bosworth sporting some of the collection’s hottest hues.
