Kevin Murphy touched down in Toronto for a fall fashion and style forecast that also served as a launch for three new products. Departing from longer, wavy styles, Murphy is predicting hair that combines the 60s with a more fashionable version of grunge. And instead of length, “short hair is looking fresher at the moment,” he says. His collection of five looks were marked by a softer version of slicked back locks and smoother, chunkier layers as opposed to frizz and texture.
The new styling product launches, which were used to complete the looks, are Kevin.Murphy Shimmer.Shine and Kevin.Murphy Super.Goo. Part of the new treatment styling line, Shimmer.Shine adds brilliant shine without oily residue and repairs damaged hair with essential oils, biofavonoids and vitamins. Super.Goo is a firm hold rubbery gel that gives hair a chunky separated look that won’t droop.
Also new for treating hair is Kevin.Murphy Young.Again Wash, Rinse and Masque. This anti-aging hair care is designed to help renew lustre and shine to dry, damaged or brittle hair.
