Finalists chosen for L’Oreal Professionnel Color Trophy

Stylists and colourists across Canada competed this spring to represent their salons at the 2013 L’Oreal Professionnel Color Trophy event, being held in Toronto on June 9. The final regional event leading up to the awards was held this week in Toronto to select salons from Ontario that would be continuing on to the main event. The gala evening included colour and styling presentations from Matthew Collins (Brennen Demelo, Toronto), Heather Scratch (Studio H, London, Ont.), Jessica V.K. and James Vaillant (Suki’s, Vancouver) and Anna Pacitto (Pure, Montreal). 

 

The finalists will compete against others chosen at similar events in Alberta, Quebec and British Columbia. For the Next Generation category, competitors have five years or less experience. For the Masters category, which includes some of the most experienced stylists and colourists from across the country, each competitor will be presented with a model and have 30 minutes to complete the transformation onstage.
