To continue their support for the professional beauty industry and people of colour, Wella is hosting Fractured Not Broken, a virtual fundraiser on Sunday, July 12.
Through their livestream, the fundraiser will be supporting the Professional Beauty Associations COVID-19 Relief Fund that supports hairstylists and beauty pros in North America, and The Loveland Foundation, an organization focused on uplifting black women and girls. Wella will be donating $150,000 to each organization.
“With this fundraiser, we want to celebrate and support our industry’s strength and resiliency. This has been a challenging time for salon owners and stylists working behind the chair,” says Carole Protat, senior director of education for Wella. “One thing that keeps us uplifted is our excitement to reconnect with our clients again.”
The virtual fundraiser will run from 8 p..m. to 10:30 p.m. EST on Wella Education’s Facebook Page and will feature some of the brand’s leading artists such as Briana Cisneros, Sonya Dove, Eugene Souleiman, Darren Ambrose, along with live education, entertainment and more!
