Behind the scenes at Wella’s coaching session.

Sunday May 1, 2011- Who: Wella Artists Frank DiCintio and Sandro Zamparini, Renee Frechette, Wella’s Capability Training Manager, and about 12 participating hairstylists from across Ontario.

What: A two day seminar that included an introduction to the inspiration behind Wella’s four trends—Polaris, Glamazon, Passionista, Lumina—and a day of creating the individual looks and having their models shot by professional photographer, Edward Kowal.

Where & When: May 1 & 2 at Wella Canada Inc., in Mississauga, Ont.

Highlights: Many of the participating stylists had one of the four trends in mind when they arrived at the workshop, but many admitted that when they saw their model they were inspired toward a different trend.
