Keep your clients chic and current this fall with these hairstyling trends from the Fall/Winter 2012 runways.
1. Punk Rock Edge
It seems like designers couldn’t get enough of a fictional heroines this season. Expect to see edgy, short cuts with blunt fringe and dark colours, like Rooney Mara’s Lisbeth Salander character from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
2. Warrior Braids and Buns
Take a cue from The Hunger Game’s heroine Katniss Everdeen’s functional braid when suggesting a ‘do for your clients. Long, simple braids or updos with intricately woven twists will be all the rage.
3. The New Bob
The retro bob is going in one of two directions this autumn: big and bouffant-styled or thoroughly modern with moving, messy layers that hit below or around the chin (extra points for asymmetry!).
