Rounding up our favourite snaps from BeautyCouncil’s big night of education.
On Sunday, May 21, leading industry professionals gathered at the Red Gate Revue Stage, Vancouver for BeautyJam Live & Unplugged, an event focused on education featuring award-winning stylists. Premiere platform artists who took to the stage included Michael Levine, co-owner of Union Salon Anthony Crosfield, Aldrich Miranda (a.k.a. Catch A Fade) and the team from Suki’s International. Even Mark Woolley, international creative director of Electric London, flew in to take part on stage. The night focused on education in an intimate setting with Q&A sessions between on-stage action which included cutting, colouring and barbering how-tos. Proceeds went to The Thirst Project and Beauty Gives Back, which work together to empower youth to help lead the fight against the global water crisis through clean water projects.
