From head to toe, clients will expect to walk out of the salon looking their best for that next holiday party on their calendar.
Using a blue hue from the limited edition Gelish Holiday Collection, here’s a nail art design to inspire the nail technician at your salon that is sure to dazzle.
You’ll need:
Gelish Nail Surface Cleanse
Gelish pH Bond Nail Prep
Gelish Foundation Base Gel
Gelish Soak-off Gel Polish in Holiday Party Blues, Simple Sheer and Sheek White
Gelish Top It Off Sealer Gel
Gelish Nourish Cuticle Oil
Dotting tool
Fine-tipped mini nail art brush
STEP 1
Remove any dust, oil and residue from the natural nail plate with Nail Surface Cleanse, using a lint-free nail wipe, and prep the nail with pH Bond Nail Prep. Apply a thin coat of Foundation Base Gel, making sure to cap the free edge and cure the nails.
STEP 2
Apply a thin coat of Soak-off Gel Polish in Holiday Party Blues, and cure nails. Then, apply a thin coat of Soak-off Gel Polish in Simple Sheer without curing.
STEP 3
Using a dotting tool, pick up a dot of Soak-off Polish in Sheek White and place 3 to 5 small dots around the nail bed. The dots will begin to pool.
STEP 4
Using a fine-tipped mini nail art brush, drag the brush through the pools of Sheek White, starting from the centre of the nail bed. This will create a starburst effect.
STEP 5
Finish the design by applying a thin coat of Top It Off Sealer Gel, and cure the nail. Remove any tacky residue and apply Nourish Cuticle Oil onto skin surrounding the nail plate.
