You’re clients expect you to be their consultation expert, so you need to find out exactly what your clients want. When comes to diagnosing how much damage has been done on your client’s mane, L’Oréal Professionnel makes it easy to identify which Pro Fiber line you should prescribe. From environmental to mechanical to chemical issues, the new app provides an easy step-by-step approach for talking with your client about their hair damaging habits.
Make it an add-on
Start by offering a trial treatment, but remind your client that in order to reap the benefits of their treatment, they need to use the products at home as well. Alternatively, offer a treatment with the purchase of the system that works for your client’s hair, so they can see and touch the results. Wash your client’s hair with the diagnosed Pro Fiber Shampoo (whether it’s Revive, Restore or Recover), choose the appropriate treatment and then apply the activator, working through mid-lengths and ends. Leave on for five minutes and then rinse out and get back to your appointment.
Extend the treatment
Most treatments only last until the client shampoos her hair, but the Pro Fiber shampoos actually reactivate the treatment for up to four washes. After that, your client can use the recharge to extend their treatment for another four shampoos. Tell your client to keep up these treatments and after six weeks, they’ll retain the in-salon results.
