The idea behind these images from Toronto-based stylist and salon owner Jason Kearns was to mimic “the midnight hour, when hair comes tumbling down.” Aiming for a more commercial look, he says, “I wanted to create something that was relatable, that wasn’t too contrived or ‘hairdressy.’ Something very beautiful, that was more editorial than anything else.”
