Jessica Chastain stunned on the red carpet with her sleek hairstyle. Here’s how to recreate her look.
Golden Globes nominee Jessica Chastain made waves during last Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards pre-show. In Prada and Piaget, Chastain walked the red carpet like a seasoned pro, showing off some décolletage and a sleek fishtail braided bun styled by celeb hairstylist Renato Campora for Moroccanoil.
Here’s how to get the simple, sophisticated look:
Hair How-To: Modern Braided Bun
- Start by applying a dime-sized amount of Moroccanoil Treatment to damp hair to boost shine and provide a perfectly smooth base for styling and a volumizing mousse from mid-shaft to the ends of the hair.
- Next, blow dry hair the hair straight using a 35MM round brush. Once dry, apply a small amount of gel to tame any flyaways or baby hairs around the face and nape of the neck.
- Part hair to one side and style it into a low bun, leaving a piece out of the secured bun to create a tight fishtail braid. Wind the braid around the elastic at the base of the bun and secure with bobby pins.
- Finish with a spritz of strong-hold hairspray to secure style and smooth down any remaining flyaways.
What’s in Campora’s Toolbox?
To get this look, the celeb stylist used Morrocanoil Treatment, Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse, a Moroccanoil 35 MM Boar Bristle Round Brush, Moroccanoil Styling Gel Strong and Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong.
