Take Khair Beauty is seeking hairstylists. We’re looking for hardworking, dedicated individuals to join our studio, that have a strong passion and knowledge for curly hair.

After several years of hard work, we’re excited to announce that our brand new beauty supply store & in-store hair studio, Take Khair Beauty, recently opened its doors in mid-town Toronto! As a Black and female-owned business, we’re passionate about supporting our community and providing a welcoming, elevated space for all to enjoy. We know it can be a struggle to find quality products and services for curly/textured hair in a welcoming and professional environment, which is why we’re thrilled to offer our community a wide selection of hair services, along with highly sought after products & accessories all at competitive prices, in an upscale, trendy retail environment.

Expectations:
• Experienced with hair styling techniques such as: trim/cutting, blow outs, silk presses, wash & styles, treatments on curly hair types.
*Added bonus: hair braiding, extensions, wig installs/styling, twists & locs
• Posses strong knowledge of relevant hair trends & products for textured hair
• Daily studio upkeep; maintain studio cleanliness and organized
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Have strong time management skills
• Demonstrates the ability to be a team player, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Demonstrates the ability to lead by example with customer service and sales
• Assist the team in achieving sales targets
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends
• The ideal candidate is licensed and has 1+ year of experience, but not required
