Why: The launch of two new products, Color.Bug and The.Mermaid.Hair.Kit. Color.Bug, which comes in pink, orange and purple, is a highly-pigmented powder that provides instant, bold, temporary hair colour that washes out. The hair kit is a one-stop shop for clients who want to create of-the-moment loose, wavy locks. It includes Hair.Resort.Spray, six Wave.Clips, six Pin.Clips and a Texture.Net.
What: Murphy demonstrated the tools in creating four on-trend, fresh looks. The kit, which he called “Shake and Bake for hair,” was used for “sexy, undone, movie star hair.” The clips allow looseness and bend without frizziness.

Soundbite: “Colour is so important in fashion; it changes an entire look,” says Murphy. “I wanted to be able to give models a dramatic look for a one day shoot or runway show and I needed to be able to apply colour as quickly as makeup.”
