The Loft Urban Spa, a bustling salon in downtown Ottawa, presented for the second year in a row the Loft Gala, a black tie fundraiser hosted at The Hilton Lac Leamy on April 30, from which all proceeds went to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
‘We are producing a unique event by bringing the community together for an unforgettable, fun, luxurious night to ultimately raise funds supporting a charity that touches so many lives,’ emphasises Bruno Racine, Loft Gala CEO and co-owner of The Loft Urban Spa salon.
The event brought together leaders from all areas of the community including fashion, arts & entertainment, sports and politics. One of the highlights of the evening was a fashion show featuring Israeli designer Eyal Zimerman with a collection of spectacular red carpet gowns.
As the presenting sponsor, ‘L’Oréal Professionnel is proud to support Loft Urban Spa in this great initiative to raise funds for the Ottawa Cancer Foundation. At L’Oréal Professionnel, we aim at contributing to more beauty. I believe that this mission includes having a positive impact on local communities for a more beautiful world,’ says Béatrice Dautzenberg, General Manager L’Oréal Professionnel Canada.
The evening culminated with a live silent auction of items, which raised $32,500, from many generous donors.
