Who: Colin Ford, director of education at L’Oreal Professionnel, and his Hair on the Avenue team of stylists.
What: Ford and his team created and oversaw the androgynous hairstyles that rocked the Greta Constantine Spring/Summer 2012 runway at the opening of Rogue Fashion Week in a loft space located on King Street West.
How: Ford described the Greta Constantine look as an effortless summer style that was full of texture and natural wave, as if one had gone swimming and let their hair dry on the beach. The team worked with L’Oreal’s new Mythic Oil to give the hair shine, and all of the lucky audience members also took home a bottle.
When & Where: October 11th, Toronto.
Soundbite: L’Oreal Professionnel, known as the “Parisian House of Hairdressing,” isn’t new to collaborating with fashion houses. Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong are Canada’s premiere fashion talents and it is a pleasure to complement their cutting edge designs with L’Oréal Professionnel hair artistry.”
