Give your clients a festive (and very pink) manicure for their Valentine’s Day date with these three looks created by the Bio Sculpture team.
Ombré
On a prepared nail, apply a layer of Base Gel, and cure.
- Apply Pink Veil to half of the nail, apply Royal Red to the remaining half. Do not cure.
- Use a Deluxe Brush Flat or a soft sponge to blend the colour gels where they meet in the centre of the nail. Blend the two colours until the desired ombré effect is achieved. Repeat to achieve the desired colour intensity.
- Apply a layer of Soft Gel and cure.
- Using French White and a Nail Art Brush/Upper Arch Brush apply hand-painted design to the nail. While working on the design, flash cure for 10 seconds to keep lines crisp and then cure.
- Create the Upper Arch with Hard Gel or Medium Gel and cure.
- Apply a final layer of Gloss Gel and cure.
Lace
On a prepared nail, apply a layer of Base Gel and cure.
- Apply two layers of Pink Veil, curing each layer.
- Apply a layer of Soft Gel and cure.
- With Royal Red and a Nail Art Brush/Upper Arch Brush apply the hand-painted lace design. Flash cure each section for 10 seconds to keep lines crisp.
- Create the Upper Arch with Hard Gel or Medium Gel and cure.
- Apply a final layer of Gloss Gel and cure.
