For the first Zac Posen runway show in Canada at Toronto’s The Carlu, Moroccanoil artistic director, Antonio Corral Calero, created the looks for Posen’s fall collection.
Inspired by the Old Hollywood film star Veronica Lake, Calero modernized the look by directing the hair back and adding density and volume to the curls. Instead of using rollers, he opted for a curling iron, pinning the curls into place before brushing out. His secret weapons include a base of Moroccanoil Treatment Light, Root Boost throughout the lengths for fullness, working Hydrating Styling Cream into the roots for volume, and finishing with Luminous Hairspray Strong for added polish.
Hosted by philanthropist Suzanne Rogers, the event raised more than $800,000 for Boost Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
