While the current health pandemic has had a toll on the beauty industry, many companies and manufacturers are using this difficult time as a chance to give back, including Oligo Professionnel. The Montreal-based hair company and family business recently donated 650 bottles of their locally made shampoo to the Montreal Jewish Hospital’s intensive care and emergency staff.
Due to nurses and doctors being required to shower before leaving the hospital, Oligo was excited to be able to provide their 100 per cent Quebecois shampoo.
“In this current situation, we all have to support each other,” says Ilan Cohen, president of Oligo Professionnel, who personally delivered the product to the hospital. “We are actively looking for other ways to contribute to this cause.”
