Phorest Salon Software, a global leader in salon and spa management systems based in Dublin, Ireland, is continuing to expand its reach in Canada by appointing Alain Audet as their Canadian General Manager.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Audet will be bringing with professional beauty expertise and wealth of knowledge to Phorest. Most recently, Audet was the executive director of the Allied Beauty Association (ABA Canada) and the former director of salon development for L’Oréal Canada Professional Products Division, where he oversaw the enactment of the first salon data panel and helped launch the “Beauty for a Better Life” program, which provides women in precarious situations an opportunity to begin a career in hairdressing. He also helped launch the Kérastase brand in Canada in 2000 and served as the company’s first-ever brand director.
In his new position with Phorest, Audet will support the company’s organic growth within Canada and develop the market with a more Canadian focus. One of his first big projects will be the launch of a REBOOT Camp for salon and spa owners and managers, aimed to help businesses navigate these uncertain times.
