Who: Pureology teams up with top hairstylists from Ego Salon, Fiorio at the Beach, Industry Hairdressing, and Studio H.
What: Happy 10th anniversary, Pureology! To celebrate, media and hairstylists from Toronto and the GTA were invited to a tea party sponsored by David’s Tea at an eco-chic space in Toronto’s Fashion District. For a decade, Pureology has devoted itself to colour care and protection, so it’s no surprise that colour preservation was the main attraction of the new line, Colour Stylist. Colour Stylist is the first system to strengthen hair while styling, and coming to salons near you in new, smart packaging that will dispense a more precise amount of product, eliminating waste. In addition to the natural formula, stylists can expect camelina and coriander oils to seal in style and shine in four new products. These include Anti-breakage Twist, a lightweight paste that makes hair pliable, Illuminating Curl that defines waves and curls in fine to medium hair, Radiance Amplifier, an anti-frizz spray applied after hairspray, and Root Lift, an elevating foam directly applied to the scalp.
When and Where: December 7 at 477 Richmond Street West, Toronto.
Soundbite: “We wash our hair every two or three days, but style it everyday – why not have a line that protects hair during everyday styling?” –Alain Laroche, Canadian director of business development for Pureology.
