* Redken artist Jorge Joao, on the lifespan of a trend and the Beckham bob: “It takes two years coming in, two years of being really strong and two years on it’s way out. The average trend lasts about six years.” Being within the final two years of the uber-trendy Victoria Beckham bob, Joao says, “Right now, we’re starting to see really short hair or really long. People are going to the extremes.”
* Business expert Peter Mahoney on standing in the way of your own success: “How you think is who you become. Every time you speak, it is from the script in your head. You habits and what you do are not who you are. Separate who you are from what you do. Listen to feedback and don’t judge yourself.”
