In 2008, he opened his famous Byward Market salon. Franchising his name, Rinaldo Hair Designers & Spa includes four salons, one of which is located in a luxury condo building and boasts its own elevator. Rinaldo only recently retired at the age of 77.
In addition to being a renowned hairdresser, Rinaldo was known for his colourful, charismatic personality.
