Now in their new location, Edwin and Fiona Johnston have everything they need, including a major space upgrade that took them from 1,250 to 2,000 sq. ft., giving them the chance to create a fresh two-story floor plan, with the help of Interior Design Group. With a focus on modern finishes that offered clean lines, they kept in mind that it’s more important to work with your space. In fact, the Johnston’s say they last thing they chose for the space were the colours. “You can always go back and add furniture of features, but it’s really expensive to change structure.” The salon furniture was sourced from Belvedere Canada, and a few pieces were sourced from a local millwork company.
