The Sassoon Academy team took the stage at Salon International on October 15, 2017 at Excel in London, U.K. International creative director Mark Hayes opened the show for the sold-out audience and explained the importance of hair being a “celebration of individual beauty.”
The show featured a live demonstration with a range of geometric and precision cuts and colour. U.K. colour director Edward Darley was joined by the brand’s international team of technicians and explained the need to “celebrate the craftsmanship of hair colouring again.”
The team presented a range of cut and colour looks, from soft yet edgy, androgynous cuts to longer, boho-inspired layered styles to the classic Sassoon bob.
The show also featured the brand’s new Sassoon Salon and Academy collections: Kooky, Neonoir, Mondaine and Jejeune.
