Just in time for your client’s spook-fest Halloween shenanigans, here are custom-designed nail art that two Toronto-based nail artists created for Salon Magazine.
Brittany Bennington, nail technician at Polish’d Nail Bar and mastermind behind nail blog, Smack of the Hand, created manicures used Orly Pointe Blanche and Liquid Vinyl, Essie Bazooka and Fifth Avenue, China Glaze Concrete Catwalk, Lemondrops by Barielle and Posh by Revlon Nail Enamel.
“I wanted to showcase some designs that would be simple to replicate during the Halloween season,” says Bennington. “My goal was to not only show classic Halloween imagery, but to also use Halloween colours to create beautiful nails that can be worn to any occasion. These nails can easily be mixed and matched and be worn by any age group!”
Esther Mulders and Justin Cappelletti from Pinky’s Nails also designed an assortment of more than 50 Halloween nails as eye-catching and alluring as the costumes that are sure to come.
Mulders and Cappelletti were inspired by Halloween imagery and colours, and used nail colours, including OPI Spotted, Black Onyx and Alpine Snow, China Glaze Peachy Keen, Essie Russian Roulette and Walk on the Wild Side by Essence.
