Stephen Moody, who was most recently the International Executive Director of Vidal Sassoon Education, has joined the P&G Salon Professional family in the newly-created role of Global Education Academy Dean. Moody will help to create the protocols for educator training and standards globally, as well as collaborate in North America with P&G North America Salon Professional Creative and Technical Director Fabio Sementilli and North America Education Director Carole Protat.
“It was apparent to me that everyone at P&G Salon Professional is moving to be in the forefront of education,” said Moody. “This new role will allow me to maximize my 32 years of experience to continue building the company’s educational momentum and assist in elevating the bar in a craft that is so dear to me.”
Moody joined Vidal Sassoon in 1980, and has since traveled the world to share “the Sassoon way” of cutting hair, and opening several educational centres in North America. “Much of the credit in making the Sassoon Academies the gold standard of basic school and continuing professional education goes to Stephen,” said P&G North America CEO Reuben Carranza. “The diversity of his experiences and accomplishments coupled with his national and international reputation are unmatched, and we are delighted to tap his expertise.”
Congratulations to Stephen Moody on his new position!
