This year’s Alternative Hair Show did not disappoint!
The evening began with a welcome address from founder Tony Rizzo, and Worldwide President Anthony Mascolo, before the 32 International Visionary Awards finalists presented their fantastical looks for the judges. (Contessa winner Tony Ricci represented Canada as a finalist.) First place for Cut and Colour went to Rossa Danagher (Ireland), and Runner up went to Anteo Geminiani (Italy). In the Avant Garde category, Pawel Babicz (Poland) took home First place, and Richi Grisillo (Australia) was the Runner up.

The cutting-edge stage presentations by creative hairdressing forces from around the world (including like Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Mahogany, Paul Mitchell, Saco, E Salon, the TIGI International Creative Team, and Sanrizz) were based on the show’s theme, ‘equilibirum.’
