Educational seminars by John Gonzales, Paul Pagliaro and Lauren Gartland offered tips for how to keep and grow your client base and improve retail sales in a struggling economy. Don Grylls presented a seminar on artistic principles in the creative process for salon styling, creating competition lines and judging exhibits. For the first time the show also featured an aesthetics stage.
