Every hairstylist knows the importance of developing a bond with his or her client. Not only is it a way to expand business, but it also establishes a loyal and trustworthy clientele that reciprocates the mutual understanding of the importance of bonds.
#ForgingBonds, a campaign introduced by Schwarzkopf Professional North America, explores the technical and emotional bonds that exist between hairstylists and clients. The campaign contains a series that will explore the bonds that hairstylists share with their clients, along with the colour products they use and trust.
This campaign is also a clever play on the integrated bonding technology featured in the brand’s BlondMe colour range which is dedicated to “blonde expression,” designed to minimize any breakage caused during lightening or hi-lifting to deliver results that address many of the challenges experienced with hair such as uneven colour or damage.
Featuring six North American influencers, #ForgingBonds includes Pamela Adam from Edmonton, Alta., and Josie Vilay from Winnipeg who reveal the personal bonds they share with their clients and how these relationships have impacted their careers.
Schwarzkopf Professional’s BlondMe #ForgingBonds puts a focus on real experiences and the authenticity behind the relationships between hairstylists and their clientele. This campaign will come to life on social media by creating conversations and bringing together hairstylists and influencers across North America from August 1 to October 15.
Adding to the excitement of this campaign, Schwarzkopf Professional Canada has also launched a contest designed to bring hairstylists together from across the country. The brand welcomes hairstylists to share their individual stories for a chance to win the opportunity to be part of the next #ForgingBonds campaign as well as be featured in Salon Magazine!
To enter, hairstylists across the country are asked to submit a short (less than one-minute) video on Instagram with the hashtag #ForgingBonds that explains the bonds that they share with their clients. Hairstylists may share the reason for their bond, what makes their bond special and the importance they place on their client’s loyalty.
