The Session finalist’s entry for the 23rd Annual Contessas pays homage to one of the most loved fairy tales, with a modern twist. “The hair was created as a collaboration between photographer, Angela Fama and fashion stylist, Joanna Kulpa, and the vision was to tell a story about a shoemaker’s daughter who is secretly a rebelling fashionista stuck in her father’s shop. Sort of like Cinderella,” says George. “The hairstyle and shape are very traditional, but we gave the look a modern, relaxed, editorial look.” Shot at Dayton Boots, her team worked right amongst the cobblers themselves.
