The nights are long and shimmering during the holiday season—a good time to recommend luxe tips for nail clients. Here are three party-worthy designs from Bio Sculpture Gel’s Rock and Crystal Collection.

Magical Nights

Materials required:

Bio Sculpture Base Gel (Royal Clear or Clear Gel)
Bio Sculpture Finishing Gel (S-gel, Flexi-Gel or UV Gel Top Coat)
Bio Sculpture Color Gels: #136 Smothered in Minerals, #139 Amethyst Moonstone
Gel Brush #6
Nail Art Brush #17

Step 1:

Using the gel brush, apply base gel and cure for 2 minutes. Apply two layers of #139 Amethyst Moonstone, curing each layer 2 minutes.

Step 2:

Apply #136 Smothered in Minerals in a broad stripe at free edge or cuticle area of nail. Do not cure.

Step 3:

Using the nail art brush, feather uncured #136 Smothered in Minerals over cured #139 Amethyst Moonstone using longer and shorter brush strokes.  Cure 2 minutes.  Apply appropriate finishing gel and cure.

Twinkling Topaz

Materials required:

Bio Sculpture Base Gel (Royal Clear or Clear Gel)
Bio Sculpture Finishing Gel (S-gel, Flexi-Gel or UV Gel Top Coat)
Bio Sculpture Color Gels: #137 Embellished Onyx, #138 Melting Mercury, #139 Amethyst Moonstone, #140 Totally Topaz
Gel Brush #6
Nail Art Brush #17

Step 1:

Using the gel brush, apply Base Gel and cure for 2 minutes. Dividing the nail in half, apply #137 Embellished Onyx and #140 Totally Topaz. Cure 2 minutes and repeat.

Step 2:

Apply a wetting layer of Royal Clear Gel over entire nail. Do not cure. Using #17 Nail Art Brush apply vertical stripes of #138 Melting Mercury and #139 Amethyst Moonstone. Do not cure.

Step 3:

Using the nail art brush starting at the free edge, pull horizontal lines through uncured gel alternating drawing lines from left and right. Cure 2 minutes.  Apply appropriate finishing gel and cure.

Marbled Mercury Nail Art

Materials required:

Bio Sculpture Base Gel (Royal Clear or Clear Gel)
Bio Sculpture Finishing Gel (S-gel, Flexi-Gel or UV Gel Top Coat)
Bio Sculpture Color Gels: #137 Embellished Onyx, #138 Melting Mercury
Gel Brush #6
Marbling and Dotting Tool
Round Black Crystals

Step 1:

Using the gel brush, apply Base Gel and cure for 2 minutes. Apply a layer of #138 Melting Mercury. Cure 2 minutes. Apply a second layer of #138 Melting Mercury. Do not cure.

Step 2:

Using a dotting and marbling tool, randomly place dots of #137 Embellished Onyx over nail, but keep clear of the French tip. Do not cure. Using the small end of the Dotting and Marbling Tool and gently swirl through the dots of #137 Embellished Onyx to allow marbling with #138 Melting Mercury. When desired effect is achieved cure for 2 minutes.

Step 3:

Apply a layer of Royal Clear Gel over the entire nail. Place Round Black Crystals at the smile line using Bio Tweezers. Cure 2 minutes. Apply appropriate finishing gel and cure.
