The first woman in the salon-owning business and the oldest known working hairstylist in Canada, Mabel Robinson from Hubbards, Nova Scotia has been forging her own path her entire life. Surviving breast cancer twice and having been in the operating room 13 times, her positive attitude keeps her going. In fact, Mabel just celebrated her 90th birthday last week on November 29th. According to her, as long as she has customers coming, she’ll keep working. Hear her full story by watching the short documentary, Mabel, below.
