As we enter the season of giving back, Wella has introduced three new Hairdressers at Heart programs that are designed to improve the lives of beauty professionals and their clients through scholarships, childcare services and fundraising.
Hairdressers at Heart is a community founded by Wella’s commitment to supporting and celebrating hairdressers at every stage of their career.
“We’ve selected three organizations that are filling major gaps in the industry,” says Carole Protat, senior director and brand educator for Wella. “Starting today, we are excited to open applications for Fabio ICAN Scholarships, where we will award six salon professionals across the US and Canada with $1,000 scholarships to continue their education.”
In addition to the Fabio ICAN Scholarships, which were created in tribute to the late Fabio Sementilli, a Wella educator and mentor in the hairdressing community, Hairdressers at Heart will also be supporting Pretty Ponytails, a community-based organization that offers haircare kits to at-risk and underserved girls under 18 years of age, and the Polaris Project to help fight against human trafficking.
