“The idea behind my Texture collection was to create silhouettes that play with light and shade; giving the hair luminosity and an ethereal quality. I also wanted to show the different textures of Afro hair. It’s so diverse and doesn’t just have to be straightened out. I felt it was important to demonstrate that you can still have curly hair and produce strong shapes, plus use colour to emphasise those curls.”
