Schwarzkopf Professional hosted 26 international colourists at their #ColorCrafters event on October 25-26th in Hamburg, Germany.
Among the creators, who hailed from all over the world including America, Italy, Germany, France, South Africa and more, was Calgary-based hairstylist and Schwarzkopf ambassador Abbey Brookee.
The #ColorCrafters event was all about sharing and expressing love of colour and creativity, and allowed the creators to meet and work together for the first time.
On day one of the event, creators took some time to get to know each other while exploring Hamburg as a way to inspire and create confidence. The creators also attended a Look & Learn that showcased hair trends and colour techniques. In addition, the creators shared their insight to the digital world of hair by providing each other with tips and tricks on how to create engaging photos and videos for social media.
On the second day of the event, creators had the opportunity to work with different hair types, textures and lengths while creating a range of colour looks from blondes to reds, and natural glosses to colour-blocking and more.
“This was hands-down one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had in my hair career!” says Brookee. “Getting to create fun hair alongside so many talented artists from all over the world is a memory I’ll have forever!”
The event provides a plethora of educational content that can be seen on Schwarzkopf Professional’s global (@schwarzkopfpro) and local Instagram accounts, as well as through searching #ColorCrafters on Instagram.
