Olivia Garden is growing its international education team with the addition of four new educators.
Among the new team members are two Canadian hairstylists—Yarmouth-based salon owner Shawna Jackson and Quebec-based hairstylist Francois Bouffard—as well as North Carolina-based salon owner Tiffany Green and California-based hairstylist Wendy Salgado.
“It’s incredibly important to us to continuously expand our educator network, not only to meet the education needs of our customers but to continually uphold innovation and diversity in the beauty industry,” says Anne Maza, Olivia Garden’s vice-president. “It’s an honuor to welcome these new educators to our team.”
Jackson has more than 35 years of industry experience and owns Steampunk’d Salon and Gallery in Yarmouth, N.S. She has eight years of educating under her belt and offers a communication-first approach to her education and styling.
With more than 30 years of experience as a stylist, master colourist and educator, Bouffard uses his experience to better his skills, has a passion for teaching and is excited to share his knowledge and love for precision cutting and creative hairstyling.
Green is a master stylist and owner of TAG studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has more than 25 years of experience and has spent her career focusing on styling and caring for textured hair and sharing these skills with others.
After moving from Honduras to the United States, and changing careers as a model and television personality, Salgado has dedicated herself to achieving her lifelong dream of working in the beauty industry.
