The 2022 Academy Awards (Oscars) was held on Sunday, March 27th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and it was definitely a memorable night! Celebrities were dressed to impress and ready to celebrate all the talent in the film industry.

Actress Lupita Nyong’o never fails when it comes to achieving memorable red-carpet looks. Case in point: Her show-stopping sisterlocks updo by celebrity hairstylist Vernon Françoise. Drawing some of its inspiration from historic African figures in classic Greek art, Françoise created an asymmetric sculptured shape using products from Matrix for a statuesque result that perfectly complemented Nyong’o’s gold sequined and floral gown by Prada.
