During Michelle Pargee’s trip to Paris last year to compete in Goldwell’s international Colour Zoom, she and close friend and photographer Greg Swales took advantage of their location to do a photo shoot on the last day. “My inspiration was based on the old movies I watched as a young girl: An American in Paris, Gigi, Breathless and Charade,” says Pargee. “Being there feels surreal, like being on a film set. It’s so perfect and breathtakingly beautiful. I wanted to project some of that beauty into my work.”
