This past summer, Schwarzkopf Professional hosted 28 hairstylists from 21 different countries for their 2023 #Colorcrafters event.
Held in Berlin on August 30th and 31st, the two-day event featured a range of activities centred around colour, creativity and community. Among the attendees were Canadian-based hairstylists Josie Vilay, Reema Jaber and Abbey Brookee.
“The vibe at #Colorcrafters is such an uplifting and inspirational event,” says Vilay. “As an artist, there is no limit to what you can create—the possibilities are endless, and you are surrounded by only love and support!”
On day one of the event, Schwarzkopf created an immersive experience that began with the stylists connecting and catching up with one another. The stylists participated in a show where eight other stylists presented the latest blonde hair trends to help provide insights on creative colouring techniques as well as learn more about the brand’s BLONDME line. The presentation also focused on achieving blonde results on every hair type. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn tips on creating engaging photos and videos for their social media platforms.
On day two of the event, the stylists got creative while working with different hair textures and lengths to create a range of looks that were then shot in a professional photo shoot. Stylists took the time to share ideas and techniques to help each other push their skills and creativity to the next level.
“Schwarzkopf ColorCrafters was an unforgettable experience, overflowing with inspiration, creativity and education, while working alongside some of the world’s most talented and genuinely supportive hairdressers,” says Jaber.
“This event was nothing shy of incredible,” adds Brookee. “It was so inspiring being able to have like-minded artists from all over the world come together and share their passion for hair and content!”
