After nearly 50 years in the industry, Danny Thournout has announced that he will be retiring at the end of 2021.
The owner of All in Trading, a company that represents beauty, nail and hair manufacturers in Canada, has teamed up with his longtime friend Tom Nelson, who has joined him as a full partner in January.
Nelson has more than 24 years of experience working in beauty and will help Thournout complete his final year in the beauty business.
Thournout will leave his mark on the industry. As a kid from southwestern Ontario’s tobacco country, he worked as a hairstylist, salon owner and educator, and eventually moved up in the industry as an independent distributor and manufacturer’s representative. Thournout’s journey in the beauty industry is a prime example of a true Canadian beauty success story.
“It truly speaks to the infinite potential available in our business and the opportunity to grow and choose your path to success,” says Nelson. “I believe we are all responsible to help mentor the next generation of professionals whenever possible. Danny taught me early on that if you can open a door for someone, do it! I am just one of the many in our industry who was fortunate enough to have him open doors for me.”
We wish Thournout a successful last year alongside Nelson, and a happy retirement!
